A short bike ride to Sinhagad Fort.

After imagining many places around Pune for a bike ride, we finally concluded to Sinhagad Fort as this is one of the nearby fort from Pune, which has a magnificent view at the top with fresh and cool wind which make you summer daytime memorable.
Now, we will request the photos to explain the view at the top of fort.

Sinhagad Fort is also unknown as “The Lion’s Fort” and most remarkable for the battle of Sinhagad in 1670.It is located at the center of a chain of other forts such a Rajgad, Purandar and Torna.
It was the sunny day so we were planning for water-park but due to unwanted excuses, we carry on for Sinhagad Fort.
We woke up at 8 am but delayed the plan by 1 hr. as we are staying widespread around the city; we all started from initial point of Sinhagad road at Swargate chowk which directly lead to Sinhagad fort.
It is the nearby fort which is around 33 Kms from Pune and really famous for trekking, mostly people start hiking the fort early morning and reach the top within 2-2.5 hrs. (“Which we did last time”) but this time as we had a plan for the bike ride, so we ride directly to the top.

We were planning for the ride from past two weeks but due to the busy schedule and many more reason which delayed the plan and finally executed on 13th April 2014.
